Replace Filter Element of the Compressed Air Filter

The compressed air supply must correspond to the quality class according to DIN ISO 8573-1 specified in the media diagram. In case of malfunctions, reduce the maintenance interval.

Compressed air condensation is hazardous waste and should be disposed of according to the locally applicable regulations.

Step 1:

Drives and media switched off.

Step 2:

Compressed air shut-off valve closed and secured to prevent opening.

Step 3:

Pull off drain pipe from filter container.

Step 4:

Keep ready container for collecting the compressed air condensate.

Step 5:

Push unlocking slider downwards and unscrew filter container.

Step 6:

Empty filter container.

Step 7:

Clean the filter container with soapy water and blow out with clean compressed air.

Step 8:

Unscrew filter element.

Step 9:

Hold the new filter element at the bottom end only. Insert new filter element, screw on filter element and tighten carefully.

Screw on filter container.

Step 11:

Push up unlocking slider.

Step 12:

Screw on drain pipe.

Step 13:

Open compressed air shut-off valve.

Step 14:

Switch on drives and media.

Step 15:

Check compressed air filter for leakage.
